Graham family 2011

This past year has been busy. We have had many good things happen in our family and some not so good!! For the first part of last year our daughter Heather and her family lived with us- her husband was layed off from his job. He decided to go back to school and they found a job and a place to live. I know a lot of people have had similar trials. Four of our sons work for my brothers cabinet shop. They have had a very hard time this year-in that they never know when they will get paid. This has been a real struggle and still is. It is very hard to watch there families struggle.. I hope and pray that they all have a better year.. Heather and Meghan's husbands are going to school and Matthews wife is in school. Kinsey is also going to Utah State. Michael is single and lives alone- I know that times have been tough for him to. I wish him good things in the next year.
Meghan had a daughter in February- Olivia. Our son Ian and his wife Katie live in Grand Forks ND.. They just had a daughter -Lucie Dec. 2. Matthew and Amber will be having there first child any time now. All of my children are very hard working-they all have great spouses! I think the hardest thing about this year for my children would be- income.  Thank heavens they have all been healthy..(children and grandchildren)
Bill and I are very lucky. We both have good jobs and we have been healthy. I am so lucky to have a great family. My daughters and I do so many crafts together. We have fun... We live in beautiful Cache Valley. What a great place to live. I want to wish everyone A Very Merry Christmas and may we all have a successful New Year 2012.

Nativity

Here is a very easy nativity to make. You can make them any size.
You need a 2x4,1x4 pine for baby, 2- 3in heads with flat bottoms, 1 half egg shape for baby head, 1/2 yd fabric for scarfs and baby blanket, red and green paint and jute rope.

My Christmas Tree

My grandchildren love my tree. Especially Lily and Olivia.

Tomato Cage Trees

This picture doesn't do them justice. They really are pretty!!
All you need is- tomato cage, lights and lots of Tulle!! Put the lights on first then wrap the tulle around cage starting at the bottom. To make it look fuller I gathered the tulle on the sewing machine. Make sure your layers of tulle over lap.

Cone Trees

Believe it or not- these are super easy to make!! Cone is made from poster board and fabric is glued on before you shape the cone. The stands are old candle sticks or lamp bases and I spray painted mine the color I wanted. Embellish them with anything you choose. They are very attractive.

Wreath

I made this on a plastic wreath that was wrapped in silver garland- I found it at Home Depot. The bulbs are then glued on- start in the inside circle. Bells are hanging on the bottom. This was fun and very easy. Enjoy ΓΌ

Christmas

Christmas is one of my favorite holidays- I love the decorations. Here is one of my nativities.
